ADDISON, CARR, OVERTON

These families were connected in a variety of ways with the Reverend Jonathan Boucher (born 1738) from Cumberland, who features on our own family tree.  Our “Uncle” Jonathan was  a guest of George Washington at Mount Vernon and corresponded with the President frequently, letters which have been fascinating to read.  


 Jonathan was not in America for many years, but his links to these people are of great interest.
