ACHINCLOSE

Siblings Robert and Juanita were the children of George Achinclose and Ruth Pearson, their mother being English.

DAVIS

Harry, Clarence and Ruth Davis (born about 1897 to 1902) were the children of Mary Vincent whose family had emigrated to the United States in the 1880s.  Their ancestors are from both the north and east of England.  

DODDS

Sister Richenda and Clara Dodds descend from a family in Cumberland who are related to us and can be traced back to the 1600s.

Several of the children of James and Agnes Donkin were born in Ohio, these parents coming from the north of England originally.

Around 1917, Fredreick Haddath was born in Ohio, the son of Frederick and margaret who are distant relations of our Cumbrian ancestors.

Mary, Honour and William Hunley were born in Ohio in the early years of the 20th Century, the children of William and Honour.  Their mother was related to the Vincent family who came from England.

Richard Lightfoot was born in Durham, England, and left there around 1883 with his wife and children to make a new life in the United States.  We have traced the Lightfoot name throughout the north of England and can assist with the ancestors of Richard.

Charles E Miars is believed to have married one of our Swainson family.

Susan and Martha were born in the 1840s and both married men named Tait who had emigrated from the north of England.  

VINCENT

The number of related people of this name is too long to list here but includes  Alma (abt 1914), Hoy (1896), Olive (Abt 1902), Roscoe (abt 1913) and Wilda (1916).  All are in some way related to a family from the north-east of England with whom we have connections.  

WATERS

Siblings Abigail, Civilian and Rachel were born in the 1840s in Ohio.  Rachel married a German immigrant named Henry Musfelt whose descendants have connections with Canada and England.
