GRANT
James Hardy Kennery Grant was born in Illinois around 1856, but married in Lancashire, England, in 1882, his wife being a member of our Cooper family. Two children are believed to have been born in England, before the family moved to New Jersey where a further five children were born.
SANDERSON
In 1887, the Sanderson family arrived in New York, making their home in New Jersey. Their son Richard Benjamin married Elizabeth Balbugh who was born in this state. These people are related to our Sanderson ancestors of Cumberland, England.
TRAPHAGAN
Jane Traphagan was born in New Jersey in 1776 and is believed to have married Thomas Sancton from Cumberland, England. The couple moved to New Brunswick in Canada.
WATTS
Sherman Watts was born in New Jersey in 1873. He married Elizabeth Sanderson, a daughter of the family mentioned above.
