MACE
Jane Mace was born in Augusta in 1842, the daughter of Wandle and Margaret. She later became the wife of Edwin Ford from England, settling in Kanab, Utah.
MUSFELT
Albert Clarence Musfelt was born in Red Oak in 1895. He eventually moved into Canada. Albert’s wife, Elizabeth, came from London, the couple meeting during the First World War.
In the mid 1860s, James and Jane Pizer left Wiltshire in England and settled in Iowa where daughters Rose and Charlotte were born.
PRUDHOE
After their marriage in Durham, England, Frederick and Henrietta Prudhoe emigrated to Iowa, a daughter May being born there around 1889. It can only be assumed that they missed their life in England for the sailed back home again shortly afterwards.
STRIDE
Also from Wiltshire is the Stride family members of which emigrated in the late 1850s. We can tell you more of their life before they settled in the USA.
WILKINSON
Robert and Margaret Wilkinson and their children left the north of England in 1881. They settled in Monroe, where sons Andrew and Frederick were born in 1886 and 1889. Robert was a coal miner in both England and the USA. He is a cousin of our Great, Great Grandfather.
