BUTTERFIELD
John Butterfield left the Furness Region of Lancashire, England, and lived in various places in North America. He eventually returned to England with his children, including his son George who was born in Colorado around 1887.
CRAWFORD
Elsie (abt 1907) and Harriet (abt 1913) were the daughters of John Crawford, all being born in Colorado. Their mother was a member of the Reveley family from Northumberland, England.
GOLIGHTLY
William Golightly left England with his wife and son in 1852, living first in Illinois and later in Colorado.
HOWARD
Robertina was born about 1890 when her English parents emigrated to the USA. Clearly,this new life did not suit them as they had hoped for the family returned to England.
KIRKUP
John and Elizabeth Kirkup from Durham, England, were in Colorado for a short time, their son Harry being born there around 1879. The family did return to England.
PARKER
George Parker from Norfolk married Lucy Ann Moore from Suffolk in 1853. They, with their large family, emigrated in 1873 and settled in Colorado.
